A single Sonny Angel blind box contains an unknown figure from the named series. A full assortment box contains several blind boxes from that series. It does not automatically guarantee every character or a secret. If you want one exact design, compare a confirmed-figure listing instead.
Single box, full box, and confirmed figure compared
| Listing type | What you choose | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Single blind box | The series, with the character unknown | One box, seal condition, and exact release |
| Full assortment box | Multiple boxes from one series | Box count, factory assortment versus assembled bundle, and seals |
| Confirmed figure | A named character | Actual photos, opened condition, and included packaging |
“Full box” describes a purchase quantity, while “complete set” describes the characters included. Do not treat those phrases as interchangeable unless the listing explicitly guarantees and identifies the set contents.
Does a full box guarantee no duplicates?
Do not assume so. Sonny Angel explicitly states that a full assortment does not guarantee all types in its Strawberry Love release information. Follow the wording for the exact series you are buying instead of relying on another collector’s unboxing result.
Also ask whether the seller means a sealed factory assortment or a bundle of individual boxes. Both can contain multiple unopened boxes, but they are not the same packaging claim. If a seller promises a complete set, ask for a list of the included characters and how they were identified.
How many Sonny Angels are in a full box?
The count varies by release. For example, the manufacturer’s Strawberry Love page describes six blind boxes in an assortment, with six regular designs and two secrets in the wider lineup. The number of boxes and the number of possible designs are different numbers.
In JackPop’s catalog, the Strawberry Love case listing specifies six blind boxes. The Animal Series Ver. 2 full-box listing specifies twelve. Read the item title and description together, and ask if the photos show a different quantity.
Will a full box contain a secret or Robby?
A full assortment should not be purchased as a guaranteed secret pull. The official Strawberry Love lineup, for example, has more possible designs than boxes in one assortment. That alone shows why the lineup image is not a picture of guaranteed contents.
Do not apply one claimed appearance rate to every release, and do not treat a previous unsuccessful purchase as making the next one “due” for a secret. For terminology and collecting context, use our Sonny Angel secret figures guide. If your goal is a particular secret, compare a clearly identified listing and check its condition.
Is a full box better value?
Work out the delivered cost per box: the full purchase cost, including applicable shipping and tax, divided by the number of blind boxes. Compare it with the delivered cost of the same number of single boxes from the same series. A larger order is not automatically discounted.
Next consider how many of the possible designs you actually want. A lower cost per box may still be poor value for you if your only goal is one figure. A confirmed design can be the more direct purchase, even when its individual price is higher.
Five checks before buying an assortment
- Exact series: Note the edition and version, not just the brand name.
- Quantity: Confirm how many individual blind boxes are included.
- Packaging: Ask whether both the outer assortment and inner boxes are sealed.
- Promises: Separate “factory sealed” from “complete set” and “guaranteed secret.” They mean different things.
- Purchase terms: Review the condition description, shipping information, and return policy before opening collectible packaging.
JackPop’s return policy explains the store’s terms. An unwanted blind-box character is different from an item that arrives with a verified defect; do not assume a random result can be exchanged for a preferred design.
Which format fits your goal?
Choose a single blind box when you want one surprise and a smaller purchase. Consider a full assortment when you like the series broadly and understand that the contents are still uncertain. Choose a confirmed figure when the character matters more than the unboxing mystery.
